Our production

1. Decoiling and Cutting

• Decoiling: Use a decoiler to unwind the steel coils.
• Cutting: Feed the steel sheets into a cutting machine to get them to the required dimensions for the roof tiles.

2. Press Forming

• Press Machine: Pass the cut steel sheets through a press machine to form the desired tile shape. This step gives the tiles their structure and texture.

3. Cleaning and Priming

• Cleaning: Clean the formed steel sheets to remove any oil, dust, or contaminants.
• Priming: Apply a primer coating to the cleaned steel sheets to enhance adhesion of the stone granules and prevent corrosion.

4. Adhesive Coating

• Adhesive Application: Coat the primed steel sheets with an adhesive or base coat. This is typically an acrylic resin that will bond the stone granules to the steel surface.

5. Stone Coating

• Stone Granules Application: Sprinkle stone granules onto the adhesive-coated steel sheets. Ensure even coverage to achieve a uniform look and effective protection.
• Pressing Stone Granules: Pass the sheets through a rolling machine to press the stone granules firmly into the adhesive layer.

6. Curing

• Initial Curing: Allow the tiles to undergo an initial curing stage to set the adhesive and stone granules.
• Oven Curing: Transfer the tiles to a curing oven where they will be heated to a specified temperature to fully cure the coating, ensuring a strong bond and durability.

7. Finishing Coat

• Top Coat Application: Apply a top coat (clear acrylic or similar protective layer) over the stone granules. This enhances UV resistance, color stability, and weatherproofing.
• Final Curing: Allow the top coat to cure, ensuring it forms a robust protective layer over the tiles.

8. Quality Control

• Inspection: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure the tiles meet required standards and specifications.
• Testing: Perform tests for adhesion, impact resistance, weather resistance, and color fastness.

9. Packaging and Storage

• Packaging: Pack the finished tiles carefully to avoid damage during transportation.
• Storage: Store the tiles in a dry, cool place until they are ready to be shipped.

Materials we use

STONE CHIPS

All Forsetra® roof tiles are coated with natural stone chips, volcanically formed and taken from quarries in French and the most famous Chinese-brand of CG Rock only. We don't use any other fake stone chips from other factories which are cheap but lousy quality.

GALVALUME STEEL

Coating composition is 55% aluminum in weight ratio (80% surface volume ratio), 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon.
