Stone coated steel roof tiles has combined the strength of metal with shake, shingle, or tile roof appearance . Instead of the asphalt shingle roofing which might be reworked on in 20 years or less,   stone coated  roof tiles are virtually a lifetime roof that will always look nice in shapes.

A stone coated steel roof tiles are exactly what they sounds like, steel and stones combinations are also strong . The tiles are pounched using rolled steel sheets in 0.3---0.5mm-thick and are electroplated with a rust-prevention coating. Then a coating of stone chips are applied, secured by an acrylic film to the steel roofing material. so that   aesthetic pleasing, durable roofs can be made, which can be applied  on commercial and residential properties  

Are stone coated tiles better than other clay ones or  shingles ?

        Here we mean the steel panel's thickness. For residential stone coated steel roof, the   0.4--0.45mm is most recommended.             If your home is located in an area where hail weather happen all the time, 0.5 to 0.6mm necessary.

        For commercial housing ,lighter and more economical choices like 0.3mm to 0.35mm are good options. For bad weather                areas   better choice should be thickness one
